A) And here, by gosh, is why this unusual looking "plump" bee, with dark and yellowish stripes, defies everything scientifically known about the 'BB' that I and many of you remember as kids!
B) Hmmmm...a 'BB's' body is far too large for its supposed ability to FLY, with those smaller-style wings. Honey bees and wasps are by far more aero-dynamically designed to fly than a 'BB'....
C) BUT....someone forgot to tell the bumblebees that they aren't designed, equipped to fly. They DEFY the odds...and FLY! Go figure....
D) That's why this philosophy major has a fascination for these small critters who didn't, do not give up!
E) An English teacher back in my senior year of high school once told me, in front of the class, that I should give up on EVER becoming a "famous" author way off in the future. Confession: would send her, in time, some of the nationally published material of mine. Guess "ron rascal" simply didn't understand how to..."quit!"
