114- "INCH BY INCH...."...GETTING CLOSER IN COMPLETION OF EDITING MY FIRSTEST NOVEL.....

A) THE SERPENTINE BOND! is an epic first novel about those seven (special number!) university students!  Imagine researching, creating drafts on paper, then on a typewriter and then on WORD....and going back over 600+ pages to edit every paragraph!  WHY 'pend so much quality work on a first novel?  It's gotta come out of the gate a smash, runaway bestseller, that's why.  Oh, the second novel has alreay been plotted out and begun.  MEET ME AT THE WILD CHERRY TREE! is a simple 300+ page ROMANTIC story about a girl visiting her grandmother for the first time and a boy who builds a rickety treehouse and meet one summer out in the country on a farm.  They meet again years later, by accident, and------------
B) TSB!...four coeds and three guys.  Montana (Tabbi), California (Trent), the Big Easy (Rain), New Hampshire (Fizz), Texas (Butt), Virginia (Rockwell) and Maui (Kaipo) are their original homes.
C) This university story takes place not in the classrooms BUT during "weekend recesses" and in a "secret garden sanctuary" hidden away on campus.  The seven BOND, create a coterie and explore the neatest ADVENTURES that any readers will go on for years in their own lives!...weekend on a haunted lighthouse!...Civil War-era covered bridge!...skinny-dipping in a mountain stream!...Harry's Diner!...Cajun Cafe with a scene in an old closed dance hall in back that will MAKE you remember TSB! for years after reading!...moutain chapel and cemetery!...a "ghost farmhouse"!...climbing a mountain trail to a rocky summit!...and a scary old university cemetery, with a murder of crows chasing a lone hawk---to mention a few!
And did I mention their "confabs" in a "secret garden" on campus, with discussions (confabs) that will liven up your "thinkin' and imagination factor"?
D) TSB! was written for ANYONE who gets an honest thrill from reading a downright old-fashioned "storytellin'."  The author, hint-hint, has developed a creative writing style using the five senses to spin a fascinating tale of platonic friendship spanning their four years of undergrad studies on a historic university campus in the East.
