A) .....Uh...Mr....ah...Gibbs...do uh-uh-uh you have any, omm...final words...for the...ah-ah-ah-ah newspersons you briefed...each-each day for, like-like-like two years? And, no, am not poking fun at but simply stating back the facts...for the pasty two years!
B) ....he's gone. But he was paid mega-$$$ from our U.S. Treasury to, supposedly, communicate every week day, from OUR White House to the press corps!
C) Speaking, in any public arena that requires and behooves those who hold such a trusted responsiblity, must have more than average communication skills! Those skills MUST be exceptional! If not, the listener WILL become lost, become "irrigated" and/or tune out, leave the premises....
D) And how does any semi-intelligent speaker realize how their speaking ability stacks up? Simple...tape them speaking. Voila...the speaker "sees"! In this case, the huge public "sees'.
