A) The highes "paper" domination (amount) ever printed was for $100,000! The bills were meant only for use within the Fedederal Researve System, but never for normal commercial use. However, there still are some (?), now, in the private collection market! And what president's likeness was on that bill? (Thomas Woodrow Wilson, last president born in Virginia.)
B) Were only Presidents' likenessess printed on our American currency? NO!
C) President Taft kept a cow on the White House lawn....for his supply of fresh milk.
D) "Don't let them hurt him." Dying President McKinley yelled that out as he saw his assassin being beaten by his guard.
E) Our first U.S. Predident actually born in the United States of America?.........Thomas Jefferson!
F) What was George Washinton's...John Adams'...Thomas Jefferson
s middle names?....they had none, with the custom begun with John Quincy Adams' name, to distinquish between he and his father. During that late 18th early 19th centuury periods, there not enough American males to warrant middle names to distinguish other names!
G) Why did/do, back then, women have to take their married husbands' last name?...custom! We now know, in recent decades, that more and more married women are using hyphenated titles, or including their maiden names with their married names....
