A) "History Sniffing", on YOUR computer! Some of you have known, for some time, that any Website you've ever visited in YOUR computer could SECRETLY search your browser's history files to actually "see"what sites you've previously visited! And now we've discovered that site owners only had to ask to get.... That, my blog friends, is called "HISTORY SNIFFING!" That, by the way, is all without your permission and usually without you even knowing it was done!
B) "History Sniffing", I've learned, has been around for some time. Those "nice" companies who did/do the "sniffing", have caught on to how to take serious advantage of the 'sniffing' IN your computer history.
C) Remember, from an earlier blog, that "computer technology" has grown so fast and vast in our society that our laws of personal protection have lagged far behind!!
D) We, the general American public, MUST act NOW, today, to push our lawmakers to intelligently examine and enact personal privacy laws to protect! That's their job! Individuals, that's us, are in extreme jeopardy....
