American who stood up and spoke out with a character that few ever hoped to match! He was...no fake, unlike too many today....
E) What you saw and watched in his films, not movies, was actually what he was in real life, after perusing many sources.

H) For the record...John Wayne used the term "Pilgrim" 23 times in "The Man Who Shoot Liberty Valance. That's how his association with the word began and remained.
