16- A 300-acre CORNFIELD...a LITTLE LOST GIRL!....

A) Emily Daneker...she was playing with her three brothers in the yard behind their home. The brothers came in...Emily did not!
B) She had wandered off and became lost in the huge 300-acre cornfield behind and around the home...in the dark! Was Tuesday evening, Sept. 28th, in the Milan Township, Ohio.
C) The mother came out, in a panic, and called the authorites, who rushed over and quickly realized the extent of the search through the hundreds of rows of stalks. Someone/s began to make phone calls...text messages...and used FACEBOOK. The SOCIAL NETWORKING quickly went into action. Over 400 friends and neighbors, plus 130 personnel, quickly came to the rescue. They, collectively, formulated a grid plan and began the huge search for the little blonde girl lost in the 300-acre cornfield!
D) 5-1/2 hours into the night's darkness, Emily was found by the eastern edge of the cornfield!!!!

E) And what were Emily's first words?......"Thank you!"

F) I, we, needed this true story, especially me, working on WORD, editing the final draft of my first novel, THE SERPENTINE BOND! OK, I may have had a tiny tear...or three! So...?
