A) *****HOPE has to be a strong ally in keeping on keeping on! And, if it could actually be possible, ask millions of persons from over the years how this intrinsic (inside) value has worked to save so much and so many individuals from quitting in our American society.
B) I feel, as a sociology guy, that the REAL heroes in our society ARE the individuals who are personally pressed and take one day at a time---who get up one 'mo morning, with renewed HOPE, and keep on keeping going. The ODDS are with them in succeeding with whatever is facing them---H-O-P-E!---and an individual, from within, is THE secret to...pure SUCCESS!
C) And I've also figured out "it" is absolutely bestest NOT to "suffer" alone! I, respectfully, "use" someone to turn my pressure for the moment around....like, today, walked into a Walgreen's to use a coupon. Inside the front door? An employee, college coed greeted me with a huge smile of appreciation as she worked. Last week, squire had asked to speak with the manager, to compliment the "new" coed on her sincere demeanor in working with the customers every day during the summer. And especially, in front of the coed and manager, explained that she WAS an ASSET there. She must have remembered, for she was given more hours of work!!
D) Said previously, in a blog, that the film "Pay it Forward" is a must to change our American society for the common good! This coed was paying it forward..... I came away, last week and today, a much better person inside, able to move away from my, at times, doubts whether my novel, THE SERPENTINE BOND!, was going to be terrific...going to influence BIG TIME Aemrican society and into 47 countries of the world!
E) See what I mean?????
F) HOPELESSNESS?...that intrinsic feeling is such a lonely one...and help can be and will be THE path to HAPPY thoughts and feelings!...with at least one other person or outside influence getting involved.
G) An another example? Went adventuring over to my town's Restored Area today to film and experience the rare Colonial brickmaking exhibition. Kids and adults had been invited to take off sandals/shoes and step into the "brick batter" of "mud" and straw to slush it around between their toe-toes. The Colonial-garbed workers were also getting ready to open the nearby brick kilns, for "baking" the raw bricks at 1,000+ degrees temps inside the VERY HOT kilns.
Thought of my beautiful little (then) daughter, Sarah, voluntering to slosh around in the "mud" and then, later, coming over to me for her to figure out how to CLEAN her toe-toes!
That extrinsic NOW scene moved me over to an intrinsic scene within my memory bank and created a smile and a HAPPY thought or three!! See how it works??????
H) As I have kiddingly said over the years...."I may be dumb, stupid and ugly, but this 'silly rascal' has 'learnt' a 'thang' or three about human nature...."
I)
